From the moment I saw my first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel...it was true love. Although I have been an avid dog lover for many years, even breeding Yorkshire Terriers for 18 of them, the Cavalier breed stole my heart in an instant.

Cavaliers are wonderful companion dogs who are eager to please and love nothing more than to spend the day in your lap. They have a rich and noble history in Europe and I am an advocate of both improving the health and safeguarding the future of this amazing breed as it becomes more popular in the United States.

Over the past few years, I have traveled throughout Europe to find the healthiest and most beautiful dogs and even brought several of my girls home with me from Germany. I've met some wonderful people at the U.K. dogs shows I've attended and formed wonderful friendships with my fellow Cavalier lovers.

We are members of The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club USA (CKCSC-USA), The Cavalier King Charles Club of Southern California (CKCSCSC), and the Cavaliers of the West. We follow the strict code of ethics and guidelines outlined by these clubs.

All of our Cavaliers live free in our home and are active participants in our daily lives. I show my Cavaliers and occasionally breed them with the hope of producing my next show champion. But over anything else, our Cavaliers are beloved members of our family and although I am a wife, mother and grandmother, I consider my Cavaliers as children, each one of whom I love dearly.

At Woodland Cavaliers, we strive to breed the very best Cavalier King Charles puppies in the Los Angeles area of Southern California. We love all our dogs as our own and we believe that no home is complete without either a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy or dog in its midst. Cavaliers are wonderful additions to any family with children. Both adult Cavaliers and King Charles puppies are never happier than when they are curled up next to you. While Cavaliers (and especially those puppies!) love to romp in the backyard...they are most content when being showered with affection by a loving family and fellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the same household!

We are proud supporters of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club USA and recommend the organization for both Cavalier breeders who participate in Cavalier King Charles shows...or just have Cavalier King Charles Spaniels as loving members of their families, whether they are puppies or adult spaniels! The Cavalier King Charles Club of Southern California is another excellent organization that frequently hosts wonderful activities for both owners and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Whether you have one Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or several, whether they are puppies or adult dogs, whether you are a breeder or a loving parent, either the Cavalier Cavalier King Charles spaniel USA or the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Southern California are excellent member-supported organizations. We also recommend Cavaliers of the West as a wonderful group of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lovers.
